# Tiptree Systems

> Tiptree Systems builds infrastructure for AI and machine-learning research: Lacuna, an open map of 750k+ papers organised into research directions and open questions; Althea, a research assistant for verified researchers grounded in that commons; and a consent-first network that lets researchers' agents coordinate.

Tiptree is an R&D company in Montreal and Berlin. Public content needs no account. The editorial pages listed below — the homepage, Learn more, the blog and its posts, Privacy and Terms — each have a Markdown variant: send `Accept: text/markdown`, or fetch the `.md` URL linked from each page (`/index.md` for the homepage). Tiptree is not a fit for general web search, for fields outside machine learning, or for anything that needs write access to a user's account without that user signing in.
